Teresa's story-
After a long and successful career in healthcare, Teresa was unexpectedly diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. She left her healthcare career of 35+ years and returned to school at Duke Medicine, obtaining her certification in health coaching. She went on to receive her national certification in health and wellness coaching.
Subsequently, Teresa penned her memoir, Thriving With Parkinson's Finding Joy After the Diagnosis. Her book has been described as uplifting and even life-changing.
Later, Teresa launched her podcast, Parkinson's Pathway Pals, Tuesdays With Teresa. The podcast has grown organically from it's infancy, now being heard in 58 countries around the world as of date .
